Changing the Text Input Mode

When you are in a field that allows characters entry,
you should notice the text input mode indicator on
the display.
Example: Entering a name for a Phonebook entry

To change to another text input mode:

Note: You can quickly change the text input mode by
pressing the
key. Press the key until the input
mode indicator you want appears.

Using the Matrix Mode

In this input mode, a list showing the character
assignment to the number keypad each time you press
a key, so that you can easily select the character you
want to enter.
1. Press a key on the number keypad. The pop-up
window appears showing the characters assigned to
the keypad.
Pressing
shows the punctuation mark list.
