Playing back a Tape
ZERO MEMORY (SCD70 only)
The ZERO MEMORY function works in both
CAMERA and PLAYER modes.
You can mark a point on a tape that you want to
return to following playback.
1. Press the ZERO MEMORY button on the remote control
during playback or recording at the point you want to
return to later.
The time code is changed to a tape counter that is set
M
to zero with the (Zero memory indicator).
If you want to cancel the zero memory function, press
the ZERO MEMORY button again.
2. Find the zero position.
When you have finished playback, fast forward or
rewind the tape.
– The tape stops automatically when it reaches
the zero position.
When you have finished recording, turn the power
switch PLAYER and press the

disappears from the display and the tape counter is
changed to time code.
Reference
In the following situations, the ZERO MEMORY mode is cancelled
automatically.
– At the end of the section marked with the ZERO MEMORY function.
– When the tape is ejected.
– When you remove the battery pack or power supply.
The zero memory may not function correctly where there is a break
between recordings on the tape.
The ZERO MEMORY will not operate in DV IN mode.

Notas
En las situaciones siguientes, el modo ZERO MEMORY se cancela
automáticamente.
– Al final de la sección marcada con la función ZERO MEMORY.
– Cuando se extrae la cinta.
– Cuando se elimina la batería o la fuente de energía.
Es posible que la memoria a cero no funcione correctamente cuando
existen interrupciones entre filmaciones de la cinta.
La función ZERO MEMORY no funcionará en modo DV IN.
