Solving Common Problems

Before contacting the after-sales service, perform the following simple checks.
They may save you the time and expense of an unnecessary call.
The air conditioner does not
operate at all

Problem
N Check that the breaker used for the air conditioner is switched on.
N Check that the operation indicator on the indoor unit is on;
N Check whether the Timer indicator on the indoor unit is switched on.
N Check that there are no obstacles between you and the indoor unit.
N Check the remote control batteries.
N Check that you are close enough to the indoor unit (seven meters/
N Check that you are pointing the remote control at the remote control
N Replace the remote control batteries if necessary.
N Check that the correct operating mode has been selected (Auto,
Cool).
N The room temperature may be too low.
N Dust may be blocking the air filter guard; refer to page 23 for cleaning

N Check that the operating mode is set to the Auto, Cool or Fan mode ;
