    1.3 Installing the SIM Card, Battery, and Storage Card You need to remove the back cover before you can install the SIM card, battery and storage card on your phone. Also, make sure to always turn off the power before installing or replacing the SIM card and battery.

    30 Getting Started SIM card Your T-Mobile SIM card contains your basic subscriber information such as your phone number and identifies you to the T-Mobile network. To install the SIM card Remove the battery, if it is installed. Locate the SIM card slot and unlock the SIM card lock by pressing it towards the battery compartment.

    Battery Your phone comes with a rechargeable Lithium-ion polymer battery and is designed to use only manufacturer-specified original batteries and accessories.
