11 Exchanging Messages

6.2 Using Gmail™

Gmail™, which is already configured when you first set up your device, lets you
create and send e-mails from your device. Depending on your synchronization
settings, all e-mail messages that you send or receive using Gmail on your device
is automatically synchronized with your Gmail account on the web. For more
information about synchronization, see Chapter 4.
To open Gmail
Press HOME, touch the Applications tab, then touch Gmail. The Inbox
conversations list appears. The Inbox is your default Gmail view. All your received
e-mails are delivered to your Inbox.

To scroll through the
message list:
• Slide your finger up/
down on the screen.
• Roll the TRACKBALL
up/down.
To refresh Gmail
Press MENU, then touch Refresh to send or receive new e-mails and to synchronize
your e-mails with your Gmail account on the web.
