In order to share media to your DSM-510 using Windows Media Player 11 you must first allow your media player

access in the software. Click the down arrow under Library and select Media Sharing.
Click the Share my media to: check box. Select your D-Link DSM-510 media player from the Media Sharing box
and then click the Allow button.
