  • Page 3 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the VTech Explore & Learn Mat learning ® ™ toy. The VTech Explore & Learn Mat is an interactive floor toy for babies ® ™ from birth and up. This mat is specially designed to grow with baby from tummy time play to sitting to finally crawling.

    ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Place the activity panel upright on the floor. 2. Insert the tree into the hole located in the center of the activity panel. Once the tree has been attached, it cannot be removed. 3. Insert the butterfly onto the sliding bracket of the activity panel.

    2. MODES OF PLAY The two modes of play include learning and music. Slide the mode selector to choose a mode of play. 3. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF To preserve battery life, the VTech Explore & Learn Mat will ® ™ automatically power-down after approximately 30 seconds without input.
  • Page 8 ACTIVITIES 1. Slide the on/off switch to turn the unit on. Slide the mode selector switch to choose a mode of play. You will hear a song and/or a friendly phrase depending on the selected mode. The lights will flash with the sounds.
