    Always carry your projector by the handle. Ensure that the power cable and any other cables connecting to video sources are disconnected before moving the projector. When moving the projector or when it is not in use, cover the lens with the lens hood cap.

    LENS 1. POWER ON Press and hold this button for a minimum of two seconds to turn on the projector when the main power is supplied and the projector is in standby mode or idle mode. 2. POWER OFF Press and hold this button for a minimum of two seconds to turn off the projector.

    This chapter describes how to set up your projector and how to connect video and audio sources. z Setting Up Your Projector Your Projector is simple to set up and use. But before you get started, you must first: 1. Determine the image size 2.
  • Page 21 After resetting, perform fine adjustment on the lens position by using the LENS SHIFT button NOTE: When using the projector with either the GT13ZLB or GT13ZL lens, it is recommended to select "Dual" in the Lamp Settings menu. This will provide the best performance when operating the projector.

    GT10RLB (Short throw fixed-focus lens) * Press the power button (ON/STAND BY) on the projector or POWER OFF button on the remote control for a minimum of two seconds to turn off the power, wait 90 seconds (2 minutes in the optional extended life lamp) for the cooling fan to stop, turn off the main power switch then disconnect the power cable.

    Making Connections NOTE: When using with a notebook PC, be sure to connect between the projector and the notebook PC before turning on the power to the notebook PC. In most cases signal cannot be output from RGB output unless the notebook PC is turned on after connecting with the projector.

    Setting a Password A password can be set for your projector to avoid operation by an unauthorized person. There are two password options: one for menu and the other for logo. When a password is set, doing any one of the following four op- erations will display the Password input screen.
