Chapter 4 Switch and Jumper Information

This chapter provides switch and jumper information for the COMPAQ
ProSignia PC Server.

SYSTEM BOARD

Switch locations on the system board are shown in Figure 4-1.
Switch SW2 is a six-position switch bank (S1-S6), which controls the
security features and configuration of the computer.

Processor Selection Switch SW4
When upgrading with a new processor, the switch settings for SW4 must be
changed. The settings for supported processors are defined in Table 4-1.
