UNLINKING YOUR KINDLE FROM A SOCIAL NETWORK ACCOUNT
Your Kindle remains linked to a social network account until you unlink it. To unlink
your Kindle from a social network account, follow these steps:
1. If you are not already on the Home screen, press the Home button.
2. Press the Menu button.
3. Move the 5-way down until "Settings" is underlined and press to select it.
4. Move the 5-way down to underline "manage" next to the "Social Networks"
setting and press to select it. The "Manage Your Social Networks" screen appears.
5. Move the 5-way down to highlight "Unlink Account" for the social network (for
example, Twitter) and press to select it.
SHARING YOUR NOTES AND HIGHLIGHTS
Sharing your notes and highlights with your Twitter friends is easy once you've linked
your Kindle to your Twitter account. Your note is added as a tweet in your Twitter
stream along with a link to the passage in the book or article.
To share a new note, follow these steps:
1. While reading a book or periodical, move the 5-way to the left of the word or
passage where you want to add your note.
2. Begin typing your note. Notes must be no longer than 100 characters.
3. Move the 5-way down to highlight "save & share" and press the 5-way.
