Network Configuration

To access AXIS Camera Station from the Internet and get live images from the
cameras you must open a set of IP addresses and port numbers in your Firewall
configuration.
Basically there must be a port open for each camera and one port for AXIS
Camera Station.
Example:
The NTFS filesystem must be implemented on your PC and the Indexing Service
must be activated. This is done from the computer administration.
If your hard disk is formatted as FAT32, you can convert it to NTFS. Simply open
a command prompt and type: "convert c: /FS:NTFS /V" to convert your c drive.
The AXIS Camera Station has a Windows-integrated security system. If you
want to enable the secure login facilities, you must authorize the
administrative users in Windows:
1. Go to the Control Panel, choose Administrative tools | Local Security
policy.
2. Select Local policies | User right assignments | Act as a part of the
Operating System and add the users you want to have rights to assign new
users in AXIS Camera Station.
