Aligning the Print Head

Open the Canon IJ Printer Utility dialog box.

Adjust the print head position.
Select Test Print in the pop-up menu.

Click Print Head Alignment.
(2)
Confirm the displayed message, and click Align Print Head.
(3)
The print head alignment pattern will be printed and the printer will adjust the print head position
automatically. Do not open the Top Cover while printing is in progress. Printing takes about 7 minutes to
complete.

The pattern will be printed in black and blue.
