To stop the Framework process:
/sbin/init.d/npum stop
To start the Framework process:
/sbin/init.d/npum start
To check the status:
/sbin/init.d/npum status

3.5.6 Windows

To stop the Framework service:
1 Select the Start button.
2 Select Control Panel.
3 Select Administrative Tools.
4 Select Services.
5 Select the Framework Manager service.
6 Select Stop.
To start the Framework service, follow the above instructions and select Start.
