    Getting started To insert the SIM card Remove the battery cover. Slide the SIM card into its holder with the gold-coloured contacts facing down. To insert or remove a memory card You may have to purchase a memory card separately. Insert the memory card with the gold-coloured contacts facing down.

    To insert the battery Insert the battery with connectors facing each other. Attach the battery cover. To turn on the phone Press and hold down the key on the top of your phone. Enter your SIM card PIN, if requested, and select Done. At first startup, follow the setup instructions that appear.
  • Page 8 To set the time and date When you start your phone for the first time, the setup wizard prompts you to set the time and date. Tap Time & date. Find and tap Time. Tap the hour and minute fields to adjust the time. Tap Save.

    The SIM card is not working properly. Insert your SIM card in another phone. If this works, it is probably your phone that is causing the problem.
