We know you're excited about owning an ASKO dishwasher and you're anxious to get started, so here's a brief summary of the
operation procedures. The page references in this guide refer to the Use and Care Guide . To get the most out of the features of your
new dishwasher, we recommend that you read the Use and Care Guide .

Model 1485 has a touchpad control panel, as illustrated below. To select a wash program or the heat fan dry option, simply press the
appropriate touchpad. When you press a touchpad, a red indicator light at the upper left of the touchpad glows to show that you
selected that program.

Your ASKO dishwasher has three wash programs, a rinse and hold option and a heat fan dry option. Press the touchpad to select
the desired program and option.
Pots and pans
For the heaviest soiled loads, such as pots, pans,
casseroles, etc.

This touchpad activates the heating element during the drying cycle to speed up the drying process.

If you've started the dishwasher then decide to change the program or turn off the heat fan dry option, simply press the original
program touchpad for three to five seconds to stop the dishwasher. You can then press the touchpad for the desired program.

When the dishwasher has finished, all of the indicator lights will come on. The lights will remain on until you open the door. When
you open the door, the indicator light for the wash program you last used will come on. If you used the heat dry option, that light will
come on, too.
If the lights flash in an alternating pattern after you have started a program, this usually means the dishwasher door is not closed
securely.
If all of the lights on the control panel flash in sequence, this means the machine has detected an overfill. (See page 7.) Should this
happen, call the ASKO Advisory Center.
