3.3.1 Advanced Chipset Control

This section allows you to fine tune the chipset configuration.
ECC Condition
This feature is used to select ECC Error condition to be detected.
Multiple bit / None / Single bit / Both
ECC Error Handler
When an ECC error occurs, it generates an interrupt. This feature is used to select the type of
interrupt to report.
SMI / NMI / SCI
Parallel ATA
This feature is used to enable the PATA function.
Enabled / Disabled
Serial ATA
This feature is used to enable the SATA function.
Enabled / Disabled
Native Mode Operation
This feature is used to choose Native Mode for ATA. However, certain OS is not supported
under Native Mode.
Auto / Serial ATA
SATA Controller Mode Option
This feature is used to select SATA controller mode. In "compatible mode", SATA and PATA
drives are auto-detected and placed in Legacy mode. In "Enhanced (non-AHCI) mode", SATA
and PATA drives are auto-detected and placed in Native IDE mode.
