    Some chassis’ include plastic studs instead of metal. Although the plastic studs are usable, TYAN recommends using metal studs with screws that will fasten the motherboard more securely in place. Below is a chart detailing what the most common motherboard studs look like and how they should be installed.

    Attaching Serial ATA Cables The Thunder K8HR is also equipped with 4 Serial ATA (SATA) channels. Connections for these drives are also very simple. There is no need to set Master/Slave jumpers on SATA drives.

The Thunder K8HR S3891 requires that you have an EPS12V power supply that has a 24-pin and an 8-pin power connector.
