The Intel
(SE) SCSI bus. With LVD, you can use cables up to 12 meters long. Throughput on each SCSI
channel can be as high as 320 Mbps.
PCI is an I/O architectures. It is designed to increase data transfers without slowing down the
central processing unit (CPU). You can install the Intel
in PCI computer systems with a standard bracket type. With these adapters in your system, you can
connect SCSI devices over a SCSI bus.
Note: For Ultra320 SCSI performance, you must connect only LVD devices to the bus. Do not mix SE
with LVD devices, or the bus speed will be limited to the slower SE (Ultra SCSI) SCSI data
transfer rates. Do not connect a high voltage differential (HVD) device to the controller.
