    Preparations and connections Installing batteries in the remote control Turn the remote control over and remove the battery compartment cover by pulling it up while pressing the edge of the cover in the direction of the mark. Insert the batteries (AA, R6, UM-3 type) according to the polarity markings on the inside of the battery compartment.

    When connecting a subwoofer to this system, connect the SUBWOOFER OUT terminal of this system to the INPUT terminal of the subwoofer. * Ordinary subwoofers, including the Yamaha Active Servo Processing Subwoofer System, are designed so that the amplifier and subwoofer are in the same unit.
