Apnoea diving is the art of pushing back the boundaries to incredible depths – with only the air in the lungs and
without any technical aids. Breathing is not a reflex here, but a consciously controlled function. The water pressure rises
with every metre until the weight on the body is almost unimaginable. The present record-depth is 172 metres. That's a
depth where only one thing prevails: deepest black.
