The HP Data Protector Express service is called a service on Windows and Linux systems, and an agent on NetWare systems.

    Using the CUI Installer CD drive: From the Data Protector Express CD-ROM, be sure a CD drive is attached to your Linux machine before using the following installation instructions. If a CD drive is not attached to the machine, you must copy the CD to your local hard drive if this is the first time that you have installed Data Protector Express.
