Step 1. Identify Your HP Jetdirect
615N/610N/600N Internal
Print Server
Remove the HP Jetdirect card from its packaging and verify that
you have the correct card for your network.
HP J3110A (600N) for Ethernet
and IEEE 802.3 Type 10Base-T
networks (10 Mbps).
This card provides a single
RJ-45 connector for networks
that use unshielded twisted-pair
cables.
HP J3111A (600N) for Ethernet,
IEEE 802.3 Type
10Base-T/10Base-2 networks
(10 Mbps), and LocalTalk
networks.
This card provides an RJ-45
connector for networks that use
unshielded twisted-pair cables,
a BNC connector for ThinLAN
coaxial cables, and a Mini-DIN 8
connector for a LocalTalk
connector box.
