menu controls the visual aspects of the system, such as parameters

related to the display presentation.

menu allows you to control the configuration of the signal processing, as

well as system installation and maintenance, and the interfaces to peripheral devices.

menu has its content linked to the current active item (view or object).
Active
Use it to access special features available for the selected item.

Menu buttons

Each menu contains several command buttons. Each button shows the function of the
button, some of them also displays the current parameter setting. The majority of the
buttons in each menu field have these functions:
• You can increase and decrease parameter values by clicking the button.
• You can change parameter values by moving the cursor sideways.
• You can change parameter values by means of the scroll wheel on the mouse or
trackball.
• You can enter parameter values from the keyboard (if you have one).
• You can select parameter value from the button's sub-menu.
• You can open a dedicated dialog.
How to select a numerical parameter using the +/- buttons

Move the cursor to either side of the button, and observe that the background colour
changes.

Click on the left side of the button to decrease the numerical value.
Click on the right side of the button to increase the numerical value.

Place the cursor on the middle of the button.
Click and hold the left mouse button depressed.

Move the cursor horizontally: left to decrease the parameter value, or right to
increase it.
Release the mouse button when the requested value is shown.
