USE CUSTOMER'S REMOTE
1) Power the TV from an isolation transformer. By remote turn on TV, and press eject button on the
remote. This will switch the TV to DVD operation and show the DVD background display. With the DVD
tray open and empty, press DVD Menu on the remote.
2) There will be a system status display. Count the lines up from the bottom. The 4 th line from the
bottom should read 11100400. If not proceed to step 3. If the line is 1110040 go to step 6.
3) Close the empty tray and turn off the TV by remote. Turn on by remote. After TV operation is started
press TV/DVD on remote. After the DVD logo is displayed press PLAY 1 5 9.
4) There are now 8 dashes in the lower left of the screen. Enter 1 1 1 0 0 4 0 0. The numbers will appear
as entered. After the last number press PLAY on the remote. WAIT! In about 30 seconds the display
will go dark and return. This indicates the information entered is accepted.
5) Confirm the correct setup by repeating steps 1 and 2.
6) Play a Region One disc to confirm correct operation.
