SDM mode allows the servicer to perform all of the alignments, except software
alignments, which are performed in the SDAM mode in mainstream models. In
commercial models, software alignments are performed in SAM mode.
How to navigate
In SDM, select menu items with the MENU UP/DOWN keys on the remote
control transmitter. The selected item will be highlighted. When not all menu
items fit on the screen, use the MENU UP/DOWN keys to display the next /
previous menu items.
With the MENU LEFT/RIGHT keys, it is possible to:
Activate the selected menu item or option.

Change the value of the selected menu item or option byte.

In SDM, when you press the MENU button, the set will switch to the normal user
menus (with the SDM mode still active in the background). To return to the SDM
menu press the RECALL button.
In SDM, press the RECALL button to toggle the OSD (except the SDM which
indicates the set is in SDM mode) on and off, to prevent the OSD from interfering
with measurements.
How to store SDM settings
To store settings changed in SDM leave the top level SDM menu by using the
POWER button on the remote control transmitter or the television set.
