MP3 PLAYER OPERATION

Instructions for Insert/Eject, Play/Pause, Track
Selection, Cue/Review, Scan, Repeat, and
Random are the same for CD and MP3
operation. Please see the CD Player Operation
section for information about these topics.
After inserting an MP3/WMA disc, the folder/file
name and ID3 information will scroll across the
screen in the following order:
• Elapsed playing time and track number
• Folder name and number
• File name and number
• Song title
• Album title
• Artist name
Track Search
1. Press the AS/PS (8) button once to enable
direct track searching (TRK SCH).
2. Press the SEL button (4) to select the last
digit of the track number ("001" will appear
on the display with the "1" blinking).
3. Press the volume +/– buttons (3) to select
the last digit of the track number.
4. Press the SEL button to confirm the selec-
tion and move to the number field to the left
(tenth position). Repeat for the third (hun-
dredth) position, if necessary.
5. Press and hold the SEL button to play the
selected song/file.
NOTE: If the selected track number is higher
than the maximum file number, the last file
will be played.
File Search
1. Press the AS/PS button (8) twice to select
file search mode (FILE SCH).
2. Press the SEL button (4) to confirm.
3. Press the volume +/– buttons (3) to move to
the next or previous folder.
4. Choose to play the entire folder or a specific
song in the selected folder:

• Press the SEL button to choose the
folder, and then press the volume +/–
buttons (3) to choose a specific song in
the selected folder. Press the SEL button
to play the selected track.
• Press and hold the SEL button to play all
songs in the selected folder.
