Copying
A phonebook entry may be copied to another phonebook or within the same phonebook to
another location. All the entries in one phonebook may be copied to another phonebook.
Current Copy
To copy an entry from a phonebook list,

Press BOOK to display the preferred phonebook and highlight the entry to be copied.
Press MENU (Options Menu), 3, and 1 to display the Current copy screen.
Select the phonebook type destination to copy the entry.
The next available location number for the destination phonebook displays. Input he
preferred location number and press Select.
Package Copy
To copy all entries in one phonebook type to another phonebook,

Press BOOK to display the preferred phonebook.
Press MENU (Options Menu), 3, and 2 to display the Package copy screen.
Select the phonebook type destination to copy all the entries.
The screen identifies the "From" and "To" location numbers to be copied to the destination
phonebook. To change the location entry numbers, highlight the field, press CLR to remove
the location number, and input the preferred location numbers to include in the copy
process. For example, instead of copying all of the location numbers provided, 1 to 125,
you may prefer to copy only 30 to 95.
Press Select to display the total entries to be copied to the destination phonebook. Press
Softkey 1 (Yes) to complete the copy process.
When copying all entries from Phone to SIM/FDN, a Package copy screen displays with two
options: First number and All numbers. Select the option to copy only the first available number
in an entry or all numbers in an entry to SIM/FDN.
When copying all entries from SIM/FDN to Phone, the one number from SIM/FDN is copied to
the Home number field for each entry in Phone.

number type that the
SIM/FDN phone number
will be copied to in Phone.
The First Number option
only copies the first
available number of
Phone entry to the one
number field in SIM or
FDN phonebook.
The All Numbers option
copies all number types in
each Phone entry to
separate SIM or FDN
phonebook entries. For
example, an entry in
Phone with a name with 7
numbers becomes 7
entries with the same
name in SIM or FDN.
