OPERATION

Calling

Volume of call

during a phone call, the volume can be adjusted via the + or - buttons of the remote
control. The last setting selected is stored.
Otherwise, adjustment of the volume is at the mobile phone.

Dialling

Call numbers to be dialled can be
• entered directly,
• selected from call lists
• selected from the "Navigation" menu (destination call number, where available)
• selected from the list of points of interest (POI browser), if a call number is provided,
• selected from the phone book (on SIM card).

Dialling via numeric buttons

Enter the desired call number in the "Phone" menu via the virtual keypad. After highlight-
ing a button with the cursor and then pressing the OK-button, the digit is shown in the
display zone above (yellow). Wrong entries can be deleted using the "C" button.
1. After entry of the desired call number is complete, press the green handset button.
The connection is now established.
Successful initiation of the connection is indicated by "Phone active" in the menu caption.
Pressing the red handset button terminates the connection.
1 Single or double-digit numbers (1-99) are interpreted as quick-dial numbers, i.e. the
number displayed is replaced by the call number from the corresponding phone book
entry when the green handset button is pressed, see also "Retrieving an entry from the
phone book" on page 15.
