    If you prefer to use the earhook, click it on as shown in illustration 4 from Quick Start Guide. The Jabra BT2040 is ready to wear on your right ear. If you prefer the left ear, gently remove the earhook turn it 80˚ degrees and reconnect it to the headset.

    4. Passkey or PIN is a code that you enter on your Bluetooth enabled device (e.g. a mobile phone) to pair it with your Jabra BT2040. This makes your device and the Jabra BT2040 recog- nize each other and automatically work together.
