  • Page 7 Sewhandy Electric model 50D To Sew a Fine Seam A plain seam is made by stitching two fabric edges together. A seam must be started, stitched and ended just so to be perfect. This is how to do it.

Tension is adjusted by turning the tension thumb nut. If your stitching looks like this, make it tighter by turning the tension thumb nut to the right.
  • Page 12 Sewhandy Electric model 50D To Change Needle When your needle becomes blunt or bent, change it right away. Loosen the screw and pull out the old needle. Insert a new needle with the flat side toward the left, push it up as far as it will go, and then tighten the screw as shown.
