Setting the Aperture

✤ By controlling the aperture, the user may adjust the
overall picture brightness.
✤ Large apertures require more lighting and soften the
background details.
✤ Smaller apertures will increase the depth of field,
bringing the main subject and the background into
focus.
✤ Set the Mode Dial to A or M.
1. Press the Navigation Wheel (Quick Menu) once.
2. Press the DOWN or UP button to select Aperture
Setting (f-number).

The current Aperture Setting (f-number) is
highlighted in Green.
3. Press the LEFT or RIGHT button to set the desired
aperture value.
The available Aperture Range: f2.8 ~ f11.0
4. When you are satisfied, press the Navigation Wheel
again.

The selected aperture setting is displayed on the
LCD monitor and exits the setup screen.

✤ A (Aperture) and M (Manual) modes allow the user to make
aperture adjustments.
✤ Maximum and minimum values of the aperture range depend on
the lens.
✤ The possible setting range for the aperture varies with zooming.

✤ Al controlar la apertura, el usuario ajusta el brillo
general de la imagen.
✤ Las aperturas amplias requieren más luz y
suavizan los detalles del fondo.
✤ Las aperturas más pequeñas incrementarán la
profundidad de campo, enfocando el sujeto
principal y el fondo.
✤ Ajuste el Dial de modo en A o M.
1. Pulse una vez la rueda de navegación
(Menú rápido).
2. Pulse el botón ARRIBA o ABAJO para seleccionar
el ajuste de apertura (número f).

El ajuste de apertura actual (número f) se
resalta en verde.
3. Pulse el botón IZQUIERDA o DERECHA para
ajustar el valor de apertura deseado.
El rango de apertura disponible es: f2,8 ~ f11,0
4. Cuando esté satisfecho, pulse la rueda de
navegación de nuevo.

El ajuste de apertura seleccionado aparece en
el monitor LCD y sale de la pantalla de
configuración.
Nota
✤ Los modos A (Apertura) y M (Manual) permiten al usuario realizar
ajustes de apertura.
✤ Los valores máximos y mínimos del rango de apertura dependen
del objetivo.
✤ El rango de ajuste posible de la apertura varía con el zoom.
