Advanced Settings
More advanced settings are available for your to customize in the Setup menu, including
network configuration, preferences, and parental controls. Press the SETUP button on
the remote control to bring up the menu.
Keep in mind, your unit is already set up for most normal situations. Under normal
circumstances, you won't need to use these features. They are only for advanced
setup.
User Information
The User Information menu includes zip code, time zone, and privacy policy information.
Zip Code
Your zip code is necessary to update the time and radio autotune functions on the unit.
1. Press SETUP (the SETUP menu appears).
2. User information is already highlighted, so just press OK/SELECT (the SETUP — USER
INFORMATION menu appears).
3. Zip code is already highlighted, so just press OK/SELECT (the ZIP CODE screen
appears).
4. Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the country where you live, then
press OK/SELECT.
5. Enter your zip or postal code, then highlight save and press OK/SELECT.
Time Zone
You can manually set the time zone that you live in if it needs to be changed after
setup.
1. Press SETUP (the SETUP menu appears).
2. User information is already highlighted, so just press OK/SELECT (the SETUP — USER
INFORMATION menu appears).
3. Press the down arrow button to highlight time zone, and press OK/SELECT (the TIME
ZONE screen appears).
4. Press the up or down arrow button to highlight the time zone where you live, then
press OK/SELECT.
5. When finished, highlight save and press OK/SELECT.
