AB Repeat

AB Repeat lets you defi ne a specifi c segment on the disc that you want to repeat. For example, you
might want to watch a specifi c scene from a movie repeatedly:
1. Follow steps 1 and 2 above.
2. Press the down arrow when the disc gets to the beginning point of the segment (the A point)
that you want to repeat.
3. Go to the end of the segment you want to repeat. Then press the down arrow again to set the B
point (the segment you marked will play repeatedly until you turn off the Repeat feature).
4. To turn off the Repeat feature, highlight the Repeat icon, and press the up arrow button.
Random Icon (DVD and Audio CD)
The Random option plays the tracks in a random order.
1. While you're playing a disc, press DISPLAY (the Info Display appears).
2. Press the left or right arrow button to highlight the Random icon.
3. Press the down arrow button until On appears (the chapter/tracks start playing in random
order).
To switch back to turn off random play, highlight the Random icon, highlight Off, and press
ENTER.
Note: The player defaults to Standard Playback whenever you put a new CD into
the DVD/VCR.
Language Icon (DVD, Video CD, and Audio CD)
This feature allows you to change the language the Info Display appears in.
1. While a disc is playing, press DISPLAY (the info display appears).
2. Press the right arrow button until the Language icon is highlighted.
3. Press the down arrow button on the remote to scroll through the available language options.
4. When the option you want to use is highlighted, press the ENTER button.
Playing Discs You Recorded (DVD±R and DVD±RW)
Playback of DVD±R and DVD±RW discs that you used to record programs is explained in Chapter
2 (go to page 26).
