Saving Uncompressed Images (TIFF Mode)
Normally, the camera stores images in JPEG format only.
The TIFF Mode stores two versions of the same image: a
JPEG (compressed) version and a TIFF (uncompressed)
version. Compressing an image causes a slight loss of im-
age quality, while saving an image in TIFF format retains all
the quality of the image you record.
