    Simply plug your USB printer into one of the four ports, run the automatic configuration wizard, and you are ready to start printing and scanning over your wireless network. For extra network connectivity, you can also use the Ethernet port on the DPR-1260 to provide wireless connectivity to any Ethernet-enabled device, such as a computer or Network- Attached Storage (NAS) * Maximum wireless signal rate derived from IEEE Standard 802.11g specifications.

    1. Keep the number of walls and ceilings between the D-Link print server and other network devices to a minimum - each wall or ceiling can reduce your adapter’s range from 3-90 feet (1-30 meters.) Position your devices so that the number of walls or ceilings is minimized.

    Wireless Channel: Indicates the channel setting for the DPR-1260. By default the channel is set to 6. The Channel can be changed to fit the channel setting for an existing wireless network or to customize the wireless network. The Auto Channel Scan setting can be selected to allow the DPR-1260 to choose the channel with the least amount of interference.

    1. Why can’t I access the web-based configuration utility? When entering the IP address of the D-Link print server (192.168.0.10 for example), you are not connecting to a website on the Internet or have to be connected to the Internet. The device has the utility built-in to a ROM chip in the device itself.
