install iTunes on your computer
Before you can download songs to your
phone, you must install the iTunes desktop
application on your computer.
Requirements: You must have iTunes
desktop application version 6.0.1 or later
installed to work with your phone. The iTunes
desktop application requires Mac® OS X
v10.3.6 or later, or Windows® 2000 or XP™
with the latest Service Pack.
1 Install the iTunes desktop application
software from the CD-ROM that came
with your phone, or download the iTunes
desktop application software for free at
www.itunes.com.
2 Double-click the iTunes package to run the
installer.
3 Follow the prompts to install the software.

4 When installation is complete,
double-click the iTunes icon i on your
desktop to open iTunes.

use the iTunes Music Store
Use the iTunes desktop application on your
computer to preview, buy, and download
songs from the iTunes Music Store (not
available in some countries). Most stores offer
over a million songs for purchase. You can use
an Apple account to purchase songs from the
music store.
To browse and buy music:
1 Open the iTunes desktop application and
click Music Store in the Source List.
