PRECAUTIONS
When the hot plate is switched on for the first time or if
it has not been used for a long time, you must first
eliminate any humidity that may have been absorbed
by the insulating coating; to dry it out, leave the hot
plate on for 30 minutes at position 1 on the selector
knob.
For correct use remember:
•
Only switch on the hot plate after you have positioned the pan on top of it.
•
Use pans with a smooth bottom and a thick base.
•
Never use pans that are smaller than the plate.
•
Dry the bottom of the pan before putting it down on the plate.
•
When cooking food with oil or fat, which are highly flammable, never leave
the appliance unattended.
•
Even after use the plates stay hot for a long time: to avoid getting burned, do
not place your hand or other objects on top of them.
•
As soon as you notice a crack on the surface of the plates, immediately
disconnect the appliance from the mains supply and contact the nearest
authorised technical assistance centre.
