This product is a digital camera for recording and observing wildlife. To make our product easy to use and have a general understanding, we have made this manual specifically for you.

    A padlock attachment is fitted between the two locking brackets to securely lock the camera. 5.2. Inserting the batteries Open the camera as described in section 5.1 to insert the batteries. The battery compartment is located on the right back of the camera. Open the protective cover of the battery compartment by slightly pulling in the clip on the top before lifting the cover off.

    5.3. Inserting the memory card A memory card must be inserted to save photos and videos. Insert an SD/SDHC memory card into the memory card slot before turning on the camera. Turn off the camera and open it as described in section 5.1. Before inserting the memory card, make sure that the write protection on the memory card is not activated (see image).

    5.4. External power supply The camera can be operated using an external power supply. A 6V power supply, minimum 2.0A, is required with a connector with a 3.5mm external and 1.35mm internal diameter (internal positive pole, external negative pole). 5.5. Assembly with the strap Use the supplied mounting strap to attach the Wildlife Camera to a tree or other object.

    5.6. Getting your new camera ready for use Open the locking brackets and the battery compartment cover - insert batteries - insert memory card - go to SETUP - enter the system menu by pressing the MENU button - select reset to factory settings. The power supply must not be used during a thunderstorm.

    6. Using the camera Before setting up the camera for surveillance, it must be set up for the respective purpose. A setting mode is available for this. In this mode, you can not only change settings but also take photos and videos and view existing photos.
  • Page 17 Functions of the operating buttons in standby mode The operating buttons are described below in the recording mode with the non-activated menu. Open the Settings menu using the MENU button. Press this button to start replay mode. Change the working mode. Take a photo or video, or stop recording.
  • Page 18 Functions of the operating buttons in replay mode The following describes the operating buttons in the replay mode with the non-activated menu. Enter into deleting or protecting video or photo files. Enter into or exit replay mode. View existing pictures/videos backward and drag them upwards to view the photo.

Close the Main menu or any sub menu by pressing the MENU button. Move up one menu point or increment the value by 1. Move down one menu point or decrease the value by 1.

    6.3. Settings Before using the Wildlife Camera, change the settings as required. Slide the mode switch of the Camera to the SETUP position to start the setup mode. In the Photo or Video mode press the MENU button to call up the menu.
  • Page 21 • Mode: Photo, Video, Photo + Video Select whether photos or videos should be taken when motion is detected. When in the "Photo + Video" mode, the camera first takes a set number of photos before recording a video. • PIR Interval: Defaulted 30 seconds, optional from 5 seconds ~ 60 minutes.
  • Page 22 Note: In this mode, the PIR function would stop working, and the camera would take photos/ videos in the setting interval time. • IR LED: Auto/Economy/Off Set the infrared LEDs brightness. • Low Bat Night Shot: No IR Led/No Shutting No IR Led: The camera takes photos and videos without opening IR LEDs at night when the battery is quite low.
  • Page 23 • Image size: 30M:6320x4736; 24M (6544x3680), 20M (5888x3312), (5376x3024), (4608x2592), (3840x2160), (2960x1664), 3M (2400x1344), 2M (1920x1088). Select the desired resolution for photos. We recommend the resolution 5M. A higher resolution produces a somewhat better photo quality but results in larger files requiring more space on the memory card. 30M, 24M, 20M, 16M, 12M, and 8M resolutions are generated by interpolation which can also affect quality.

This password must be entered each time the camera is switched on in the SETUP mode before the camera can be used. Note: If you forgot your password, please unlock the camera with the password “OPEN”.

    6.4. WiFi APP connection Before using the WiFi function, please install the APP application on the smartphone device. Scan the QR code inside the battery compartment inside the camera. 6.4.1. Connect the Bluetooth Slide the mode switch of the camera to the TEST or ON position, and then turn on the mobile phone, click the APP , and enter STEP1 as shown in the following figure.

    6.6. Setting up the Live mode standard application of Wildlife Camera is the Live mode. When in this mode, photos are either triggered by movement sensors or at intervals according to the respective setting. To set up the Live mode, switch mode switch to the ON position.

    6.8. File format The Wildlife Camera stores photos and videos on the memory card in the folder “\DCIM\ MOVIE&PHOTO”. Photos are given a file name with the extension “JPG” (Example: “IM_00001.JPG”), and videos, are given the extension ".MP4" (Example: "VD_00002.MP4"). When in SETUP and OFF mode, use the enclosed USB cable to transfer files onto the computer.
