GENERAL INFORMATION
TV
MAINTENANCE
~ VOLUME TV - for adjusting the volume
— 0-9 digit keys - for selecting preset stations
— A/CH - to switch back to the previously selected station
~ TV/VCR - switches the TV input (RF) to VCR mode and back
~— CHANNEL/TRACK - for next ~ or previous = preset station
~ PIP - Picture in Picture
— MENU - to enter the menu mode
- €-decrement
- moves the cursor down when in menu mode
- > - increment
~ moves the cursor up when in menu mode
~ STATUS - to display user information on the TV screen (On
Screen Display)
— ADV. - selects out off a menu structure
~ MODE - for language selection
~ STANDBY - for selecting standby mode

~ CHANNEL/TRACK - next & or previous = track
- SCAN - for automatically playing the beginning of each track
on a cassette
- PLAY - for starting play
~ STOP - for stopping recording/play

— ¢4- for winding the tape in the opposite direction
~- MODE - for selecting the reverse mode
- STANDBY - for selecting standby mode
SURROUND PROCESSOR
— DO PRO LOGIC, ---3CH, HALL, STADIUM, THEATER,
SIMULATED - for selecting the different surround modes
— OFF - for switching the surround mode off
— SURROUND, ACOUSTIC, CENTER - selecting the cursor
mode in case you wish to adjust the different surround
modes

V DOWN CURSOR UP A - these keys are used in combina-
tion with the SURROUND, ACOUSTIC and CENTER keys in
case you wish to adjust various settings of the surround
modes.

~ TEST TONE - for checking the output level of the front,
center and rear speakers.
~ REAR LEVEL +/- - for adjusting the rear level (related to
front level)

~ OPEN/CLOSE - for opening and closing the disc
compartment

or other places where high temperatures can occur, such as
in the vicinity of a heating apparatus.
¢ Do not expose the equipment to humidity or rain.
* Achamois leather cloth, slightly moistened with water is
sufficient for cleaning the cabinet
* Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, spirits,
ammonia or abrasives.
