The needles in the instrume nt cluster illumi-
nate when the ign ition is

The

als a lso illuminate when the lights are switch-

ed on. The instrument illumination dims au-
tomatica lly as the amount of light outside de-
creases. This helps to rem ind t he driver to
turn the head lights on as it becomes dar ker
outside.
