numerous Mini SD cards available in the market, and that it meets the applicable specifications and standards.
Nevertheless, there is a wide variety of Mini SD cards produced by numerous manufacturers, so there might be
products that do not meet the applicable specifications and standards. Consequently, some of the applications in
your phone (such as Music playback) might not be able to operate properly due to the usage of such products that
do not meet the applicable specifications; and this is beyond Philips' control.
Therefore, should you happen to experience any problem related to the use of your Mini SD card, for example, the
Mini SD card cannot be detected when playing media files or browsing the photo album, please consider the
following recommendations before determining that the malfunction is caused by the phone:
Make sure that your Mini SD card meets the applicable industry specifications and standards.
Check if your Mini SD card has been properly inserted into the card slot? Return the phone to idle
mode and switch it off. Remove the Mini SD card and insert it back into the card slot. Switch on the
phone and check if it operates normally.
Please note that the Mini SD card to be used with your Philips S900 has to be formatted using FAT 16.
Hence, we recommend that you use Mini SD card that have FAT-16 format. If your Mini SD card in
other formats, you need to reformat it using FAT-16 via a PC, for example.
