Save As "User
Define"
If you have selected "Save Message", the message will
be stored in "Unsent Messages" in the outbox folder.
If "Save as User-Define" is selected, the edited short
message shall be saved in the custom page (if the
custom page is full, you will have to remove unwanted
messages in order to make room for new ones).
You can resend it if it is not sent successfully. If all
sending attempts fail, please check that you have set
the SMS Centre number correctly.
Preset short messages
This phone provides you with some preset short
messages. You can select any one of them. After
Menu Options
confirming your choice, you can continue to edit the
preset message to form a new short message.
Subsequent operations are the same as "New Message".
In addition, you can use the self-defined function to
to delete the
preset up to 10 commonly used short messages. The
"Save As User defined" feature works in the same way,
but after you have edited a short message you can use this
feature to save the message before sending it.
Emoticons
This phone features an emoticon function that allows
you to attach an emotion icon when sending a
message. If the receiving phone supports the emotion
icon function, the icon will be displayed correctly
when the message is read.
Note: Only a phone that supports emotion icon
function can read an emotion icon that is attached to
a message, otherwise the icon will be displayed as ascii
characters.
