    1. Getting Started Congratuations on your purchase and welcome to Philips! To fully benefit from the support that Philips offers, register your product at www.philips.com/welcome. Please read the safety instructions in the “Precautions” section before using your phone. To use your phone, you must insert a valid SIM card supplied by your network operator or retailer.

    Insert the SIM card Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slots, making sure that the clipped corner of the card is pointing the right direction and that the gold contacts are facing downwards. Replace the battery Place the battery back into its slot, with the gold contacts of the battery facing the corresponding gold contacts on the bottom of the phone.
