Start delay (if available)
Select the programme and temperature, any additional options and the spin speed.
Pressing the "Start Delay" button the associated display comes on. Press the "Start Delay" button
repeatedly until the desired number of hours is reached. If the maximum number of hours is reached for
the delayed start, further pressing of the button starts the counter at zero again.
Press the "Start/Pause" button in order to start the programme, it will start after the selected time.
Correct the start delay
The start delay hours can be corrected even after the "Start/Pause" button has been pressed.
Decrease or cancellation
By pressing the "Start delay" button the start delay hours are decreased. Press the "Start delay" button
repeatedly, until the desired number of hours is reached. When "0" is reached, the appliance starts the
programme immediately and the remaining time of the selected programme is displayed.

The remaining time of the selected programme is displayed and the "Start/Pause" button flashes. Now
the start delay time can be selected again as described above.
N.B.
With liquid detergent, a dosing aid placed directly in the drum should be used if a start delay has
been selected.
Door lock
The door locks automatically after the programme start until the end of the programme.
The "Door Free" indicator (if available) is on, before the starting and at the end of the programme.
If the programme selector is moved to the "
after approximately one minute the door is released.
In this case do not open the door, because hot water could be released from the appliance.
Programme end
The programme end is indicated by:
• the "Door Free" indicator (if available) coming on and the remaining time indicator (if available)
showing "0:00".
1. Turn the water supply tap off.
2. Wait for the door to unlock (about one minute).
3. Open the door and unload the machine. The programme sequence indicators are all off.
N.B. Do not fully close the door but leave it ajar to allow the drum to dry out.
Changing programme and options
1. Press the "Start/Pause" button. The "Start/Pause" button flashes.
2. Select the new programme, options and spin speed.
3. Press the "Start/Pause" button. The new programme resumes the wash programme at the same stage at
which the preceding one was interrupted.
N.B. For this programme do not add any further detergent.
Programme interruption or pause
To interrupt the running programme for a certain period and continue it at a later time:
1. Press the "Start/Pause" button. The indicator flashes.
2. Following the desired pause press the "Start/Pause" button once again.
Cancelling the programme
If the current programme is to be terminated prematurely and cancelled, the water must be pumped out
first before the door can be opened:
1. Set the programme selector to programme setting "Drain". The indicator (if available) above the "Start/Pause"
button flashes. The spin indicator shows "0" and the remaining time indicator shows "0:02" minutes.
2. Press the "Start/Pause" button in order to start the "Drain" programme.
