4. Troubleshooting
Welcome Message
Welcome message is a feature to display custom message on TV, every time TV is turned on by Guest in Hotel room.
- Welcome message settings are placed in Hotel Option Menu.
- Welcome message can be of only 25 characters and it can be edited by changing its text in Hotel Service menu.
- Following is the list of characters supported for Welcome message:
- In alphabets from A to Z only in capital letters is allowed.
- Special characters only space is allowed.
- Not all characters are supported in Welcome message.
- Welcome message can be edited only if Welcome ON option is On.
- Welcome message can be edited by using navigation, color & enter key of a Remote in "Edit Welcome Message" OSD.
- Hotel Mode should be ON.
- Welcome message should be ON in order to display the message on power ON.
- Welcome message should be configured in Hotel Option Menu.
- OSD feature could be different according to model.
- Message will be initialized after factory reset.
- Highlight cursor will be at first square in Input Part when a user enters into "Edit Welcome Message" menu.
USB Cloning
USB Cloning is a function to download user configured settings (Picture, Sound, Input, Channel, Setup, and Hotel Setup)
from one TV set and upload the same to other TV sets.
All the user-defined settings from the TV (Master Set) can be copied to the USB device.
* Cloning from TV to USB
- It is an operation to copy the stored data from the specific area on the EEPROM at the
- TV set to the USB device.
- "In Progress" string will be displayed during copying data to USB.
- "Completed" string will be displayed when the copy operation was finished successfully.
- "Failed" string will be displayed when the copy operation was not finished successfully.
- "No USB" string will be displayed when any USB is not connected.
* Cloning from USB to TV
- 1 It is an operation to download the stored data in USB device to TV set.
- "In Progress" string will be displayed during copying data to TV.
- "Completed" string will be displayed when the copy operation was finished successfully.
- "Failed" string will be displayed when the copy operation was not finished successfully.
- "No USB" string will be displayed when any USB is not connected.
- "No File" string will be displayed when there is no file to copy in USB.
* In normal mode
- The operation to copy from USB to TV can be executed by pressing Enter key for 5 seconds.
- "Cloning(USB to TV) in progress" string will be displayed during copying data to TV.
- "USB is not connected. Please check and retry" string will be displayed when any USB is not connected.
- "Cloning(USB to TV) completed successfully" string will be displayed when the copy operation was
finished successfully.
- "Failed to receive. Please check and retry" string will be displayed when the copy operation was not
finished successfully.
- "No file available to receive. Please check and retry" string will be displayed when there is no file to copy in USB.
- All OSD will not be disappeared until any key is pressed.
