Troubleshooting
■ No Sound
Symptom - Video is normal but there is no sound.
Generally there are four things that can cause this issue.
- Speakers not connected
Major Checklist - Speakers are defective
- Main board audio error
- SMPS not supplying voltage to the main board

Is the cable connection between the Main
Board and the speaker properly connected?
Yes

Check that the voltage on pins 7 & 8 of
CN801 has 12V
Yes
Use an oscilloscope to monitor the output
of the speaker jack. Does the wave form
match the wave form listed?
Yes

Replace the Speaker
No
Make the connection
No
Replace the SMPS
No
Replace the Main Board
