6-4 Driver Board Operation Check
1. Input Voltage
After the Driver Board Jig is mounted, turn on the power and check the input voltage of the board.
-.EPF102: 12V (left, located near pin 12 connector)
-.EPF101: 6.5V (left, located near pin 12 connector)
-.C124: -12V (located on IC103)
-.CR505, CG505, CB505: 5V (center, located near pin 100 connector)
2. RF Screen
When the RF(TV) signal input, check the screen with using the Channel Up/Down buttons on the remote control.
(Focus on the vertical line failure, intermittent sparks on horizontal lines, noise type vertical lines)
3. Driver IC Pattern
-> Enter the Driver IC Pattern in the following sequence:
Press Display -> Factory on the remote control and select the Test Pattern.
-> Press the P.Mode button on the remote control to move to the next screen.
-> Important Check Item: Vertical Line Failure (especially, focus on checking H-V ramp
waveform screen - > For an abnormal contrast screen, be sure to check whether contrast abnormality exists
because it is hard to detect it. )
4. Shutter Waveform

-> Failure Symptom: When Y(R,G channel simultaneously used) Shutter operates abnormally, the screen yellows
all over. And when B Shutter operates abnormally, the screen blues all over.
-> Check Points(located on the right of pin 20 connector): Y Shutter - TPG501, B Shutter - TPB501
5. Window Waveform

-> Failure Symptom: If the waveform of Window Control input is abnormal, even though nothing clearly appears on
screen, it will finally damage the panel.
-> Check Points : ICR504(TL062 IC), ICG504(TL062 IC), ICB504(TL062 IC) Pin 7
(Check points like shutter will be applied to mass-produced PCBs.)
