1.
Install bolt (A) in rear hole (B) of Kick
Guard and through front hole (C) in
guide bar.
2.
IMPORTANT: Dimple (D) in Kick Guard
must engage recess (E) in guide bar.
3.
Securely tighten nut (F) and bolt (A).
For saws with Optional Kick Guard,
P/N 2894901, and Symmetrical or
Asymmetrical Low-Kick type (Pro-Lite)
guide bars:
1.
Install 8-32 bolt in small hole of Kick
Guard and through small hole in center
of bar nose.
2.
IMPORTANT: Dimple in Kick Guard
must engage recess in guide bar.
3.
Securely tighten nut and bolt.
Guide Bar and Saw Chain Installation and Removal
1.
Align the brake connector (B) on
the sprocket guard cover (C) to
the groove on the side of the
brake lever (A) (Front hand
guard).
2.
Remove air filter cover and
disconnect spark plug lead.
3.
Move the chain brake lever (A)
(Front hand guard) fully
REARWARD (UNLOCK chain
brake) to remove or install the
sprocket guard cover (C).
4.
Remove sprocket guard cover
nuts (D) and remove sprocket
guard cover (C).
