PREFACE
This manual describes the manual controls and pro-
gram control of printing and carriage operations of
the IBM 1132 Printer.
It
also describes the me-
chanical and electrical principles involved in per-
forming these operations.
It
is assumed that the user has a basic know-
ledge of the stored programming concept, and of
the instruction set and theory of operation of the
using system.
The users of this manual are cautioned that
specifications are subject to change at any time and
without prior notice by IBM. Wiring diagrams
(logics) at the engineering change level of that
specific machine are included in each machine
shipment.
fhis manual (Form Y26-3622-1) is a reprint of the former edition
Form 227-3622-1). Only the form number prefix has been
:hanged to indicate the Restricted Distribution status of the manual.
