TABLE BLENDER

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND KEEP FOR
FUTURE REFERENCE.
Follow basic safety precautions, including:
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from eight years and above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or lack of
experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or instructed how to
use the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning,
operating, maintenance or connecting the appliance to the power supply should
not be made by children under the age of eight.
2. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF BABIES AND CHILDREN – Keep the appliance and its
cord out of the reach of children during use.
3. This appliance is not a toy. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
4. Close supervision is required when the blender is used near children.
5. The warnings, cautions and instructions stated in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur when the product is
in use. To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury, always follow safety
basic precautions when using this appliance.
6. Don't use the appliance for any purpose other than those described in these
instructions.
7. The blender is intended exclusively for household use only and not for
commercial use.
8. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such
as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
9. Make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate (located on the
underside of the blender) is the same as the supply voltage in your home. If not,
do not use the blender and return it to your retailer.
10. Don't use the appliance if it's damaged or malfunctions. Never operate the
appliance with a damaged power lead or plug.
11. Route the cable so it doesn't overhang, and can't be tripped over or caught.
12. Keep the appliance and the cable away from hotplate, hobs or burners.
13. Do not touch the blades as they are very sharp. Handle carefully.
14. Keep fingers, hair, clothing and children utensils clear of the blender.
15. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from the
blades during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, or damage to the
blender.
16. Don't put the appliance in liquid, don't use it in a bathroom, near water, or
outdoors.
17. To prevent electrical hazards, never put the blender motor unit, mains cable or
plug in water (or any other liquids). Do not allow water to contact the electrical
parts.
18. Do not move the blender while it is in use. Doing so could seriously harm the
user and/or third parties.
19. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the table blender as it can be ejected out
